ISTE Students’ Chapter MMCOE collaborated with ISTE MANIT Bhopal to conduct a general knowledge quiz competition under their national-level annual event Chimera X. The competition was organized in 20 cities all over India, and the Pune City zonal level division of the same was handled by the ISTE Students’ Chapter of MMCOE, Karvenagar.
To compete in this quiz, candidates had to register in a team. The zonal level consists of two rounds- The first round consisted of a quiz for all the registered participants. All the shortlisted teams from Round 1 will then battle it out in Round 2, and a city-wise winner will be announced.
Chimera-X was effectively conducted on the online platform hosted by ISTE MANIT, with numerous participating teams from various colleges all over Pune.
It was a challenging yet enthralling quiz with questions ranging from sports to ancient history and several other areas of interest.
Team Pepega (Pranav Kulkarni and Ishan Gala) bested the city-wise round and won a prize of ₹1200/-, Advait Mandke emerged as the 1 st runner up with a prize of ₹1000/- and Ved Garge was the 2 nd runner up with a prize of ₹750/-.
